As L.A. County's preferred fare payment method, TAP is already accepted on all Metro bus and rail lines, and on an ever increasing number of municipal transit systems. Your same TAP card may be used on other participating systems; however be sure to load the valid corresponding fare onto your card for each unique transit system.
